About Mehrangarh Museum Trust:
The Trust was established by Maharaja Gaj Singh in March 1972, with the primary objective of setting up a museum in Jodhpur, India, promotion of the live arts and handicrafts of the region and for educational and charitable purposes. For the conservation work of the Nagaur Fort, the Trust received the Award of Excellence for Conservation Heritage in 2002 by UNESCO Asia-Pacific.
